I have received the RAP for The Paxton. They are proposing to use a arsenic background number of 23.5 mg/kg,
which will also be their cleanup goal. Could you please review this and advise if we can accept this number?
They appear to have applied a 0.75 mile search radius around the site and calculated a simple average based on the
arsenic numbers chosen for each of the VCP projects within that radius. The arsenic background number for RETEP
was also included.
I've attached the document for your reference. The discussion on the arsenic number is in Section 1.8 (pg 10) and
Appendix A (pg. 33).
