The Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has received a Site Management Plan (SMP) for the Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation Site in Salt Lake City,
Utah. The SMP outlines methods and actions that will be taken to mitigate risk and manage exposures at the site from former spills ofvolatile organic compounds (primarily Freon 113)
and nickel.
A thirty-daypublic comment period to receive comments on the SMP will commence on [Comment period start date] and end at 5:00 p.m. on [Comment period end date].
