This document describes the spill, the extent of the spill, and the cleanup that occurred.
2 Background
The release was discovered on February 3, 2025, and was the result of check valve failure and pipeline freeze and
break. The release made its way down gradient across the site approximately 50 feet. There were no injuries as a result
of the release. The hazards to the environment were resolved with the removal of the affected soil.
3 Notifications:
The initial spill notification was sent to Mike Zucker at UDEC on February 13, 2025.
4 Volume reported spilled:
As per Pumper Jonathon Denniston, approximately 5-10 barrels of produced water was spilled.
5 Spill Area
Estimate of spill area is approximately 1157 sq feet.

7 Remediation
Area of remediation was approximately 1300 square feet. Stubbs and Stubs excavated two dump loads (approximately
20 yards) of material and brought in two dump loads of fresh material. Impacted soil was removed from location and
