During today’s BAT inspection (01/24/25), it was discovered that the drain line to the west rotary sump was frozen causing
a disruption in the operation of the pump system. Upon discovery, efforts were made to pump the water below the grate.
However, a pipe break occurred shortly after the initial water removal, resulting in the water level rising again above the
grate. Currently, there is standing water above the grate that we have been unable to address due to time constraints but
expect to be corrected on Monday.
Per GWQDP #UGW450005, Appendix K, Part 4.1 EnergySolutions is providing this 24-hour notification and will provide
written notification of this concern within 7 calendar days of the discovery.
