Notification of Return of Monitoring Well GW-88 to Quarterly Water Level
Measurement Frequency
Dear Mr. Hansen:
On June 28, 2023, EnergySolutions provided notice that the frequency of depth-to-water
monitoring at well GW-88 had changed from quarterly to monthly (submittal CD-2023-130).
Based on subsequent depth-to-water monitoring, EnergySolutions provides notice the
frequency of water-level monitoring at well GW-88 has returned to quarterly. This
notification of return to quarterly monitoring is performed in accordance with the
modification of GWQDP Part I.F.5.a, approved by the Division of Waste Management and
Radiation Control on March 28, 2023 (DRC-2023-001933).
As of the fourth quarter of 2024, the depth-to-water measurement of well GW-88 is within
0.40 feet of the baseline measurement, equal to the 0.4-foot criterion listed in GWQDP Part
I.F.5.a.
In accordance with the requirements of GWQDP Part I.H.2, this information will be
documented in the annual monitoring report to be submitted on or before March 1, 2025.
