Dear Mr. Hansen:
Enclosed is the 2025 annual groundwater sampling event schedule for the Clive Facility.
This submittal meets the requirements of Part I.F.1.i of the GWQDP and Condition VI.E.1.f
of the state-issued Part B Permit.
On March 31, 2025, EnergySolutions plans to begin the 2025 annual Mixed Waste sampling
event, which includes sampling of monitoring wells and leachate collection pipes as required
by Module VI and Module II, respectively, of the state-issued Part B permit and the annual
sampling activities required by the GWQDP at the compliance wells associated with the
Class A West, LARW, and 11e.(2) embankments. The GWQDP sampling event is scheduled
for completion on June 2, 2025. Please note the enclosed schedule may change due to
weather, site conditions, facility staffing, and/or re-scheduling of split sampling events at the
request of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control.
