Surveillance Scope: (Selected Requirement Elements) Verified that controlled documents checks are being completed as required in Section 4.7 of ES-AD-PR-002, Document Control.
Surveillance Results: The Clive Facility does not maintain hard copy-controlled documents as all employees utilize ES Company Intranet to view controlled documents. Although Document Control keeps a current revision of each Procedure, Work Instruction and Qualification Card in a 1-hour fire rated cabinet in the Document Control area. The
Division of Waste Management Radiation Control (DWMRC) still maintains hard copies. A verification list is
provided to the DWMRC as required by the procedure; however, they are not required by the procedure, nor have they returned a copy of the verification list.
Upon reviewing the Procedure, it was found that all Licenses, Permits and Procedures are in compliance. A list
of controlled documents has been emailed to the Division of Waste Management Radiation Control (DWMRC).
No response is required.
