SUMMARY: The purpose of this visit was to observe the low-flow groundwater sampling for
the first bi-annual groundwater event for 2025. The DERR arrived on-site at 2:00 PM and met
with Michael Ozier from Tetra Tech. The DERR was present for the purging and sampling of
monitoring well 10b, along the eastern boundary. It was originally thought that the well ran dry
during purging, but water returned once Michael switched out the tubing. No other issues were
reported for the well and all samples were bagged and placed on ice. At the time of the visit,
Michael was about half way through the monitoring wells. He let me know that MW-12D is still
missing, and MW-16 was obstructed, both likely a result from the recent construction. However,
he was able to collect a sample from MW-19. The DERR also met with Molly Wabel from
Chromalox on-site to discuss the recent expansion. All work was being performed in a manner
consistent with the accepted workplan and QAPP.
