The Site is located at 2850 West and 2600 North in Weber County, Utah. The project consists of 25 lots. The plans have been reviewed, computer models ran, and approvals pending from the District for the construction of the water system improvements for the site. Due to the proximity of the proposed sewer to the culinary water, the proposed 4” sewer laterals will be sleeved in 6” PVC SDR35 pipe casings and the proposed 1” culinary laterals will be sleeved in 4” PVC SDR35 pipe casings. The plan shows a note for the casings in all locations (please see the attached table). All casings will be installed at a length of 10’ perpendicular from the sewer. PVC casing are being used due to the corrosively of the soils. Please see the attached table for specific information on each crossing. The groundwater table is shallow in the area due to irrigation canals near the property. No exact measurements have been taken because of the seasonal nature of the canal. The sewer main and laterals will be installed in PVC pipe. The water main is a new 8” PVC pipe and laterals will be copper pipe. Construction is intended to begin in the early months of 2024. We request an exception to the Minimum Separation Requirement R309-550-7 for these crossings. Please let us know if additional information is needed. Sincerely, Gregory L Seegmiller P.E.
