Stephanie Lynne Judd: Subject: Notice of Increased Disinfection Byproduct Monitoring for Cottonwood Coves Inc., UTAH18172 This letter is an official notification that the disinfection byproduct (DBP) sampling schedule for Cottonwood Coves has been changed. In a recent audit of DBP sampling schedules, it has been determined that Cottonwood Coves water system’s sampling schedule needs to be adjusted to accurately meet the requirements in the rule. According to our records, Cottonwood Coves serves a population of approximately 250 people and serves surface water. Based on this information, your water system is required to monitor two (2) DBP sampling sites per year. [R309-210-10(2)]
As a result, the sampling schedule for DBPs for your water system is now the following:
Sampling Points Analyte(s) Required Number of Dual Sample Sets

You may also access an updated version of your water system’s monitoring schedule at www.WaterLink.utah.gov by searching for your water system then clicking “Water Monitoring.”
Cottonwood Coves should begin sampling according to the new monitoring schedule by this year, 2021. Please note that annual sampling should be completed between July 1 and September 30 each year. Please mark your chain of custody forms with the lab using DS001 as the facility code and the MR or MD code as the sampling site code, as compliance is determined based on the sample codes and addresses entered. If you have any questions, please contact Morgan Vinyard at (385) 707-6562 or morganvinyard@utah.gov. Sincerely,
Mark Berger
