Once onsite with vacuum trucks to begin recovery, Pacific West found the standing product had absorbed into the soil. Being as Magnesium Chloride is utilized for dust control, and did not pose any threats to waterways, I determined soil remediation was not necessary. If you have any further questions, please reach out. (c) Name and quantity of material(s) involved; Approximately 10,000 gallons of Magnesium Chloride. (f) The estimated quantity and disposition of recovered material that resulted from the incident. No remediation was completed as standing product had absorbed into soil by the time contractors were onsite. Please submit a written 15-day report with the information seen below, as outlined in Utah Admin Code R315-263-33. This report is required to close out the spill incident number 16153 (attached).
