HomeMy WebLinkAboutDWQ-2025-002050 UTAH DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY DIVISION OF WATER QUALITY PUBLIC NOTICE: CALL FOR DATA FOR THE 2026 INTEGRATED REPORT PURPOSE OF PUBLIC NOTICE The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) will be assessing the surface waters of the State (e.g., rivers, lakes, and canals) for the 2026 Integrated Report. This report analyzes water quality data to determine if assessed waterbodies support their designated beneficial uses (Utah Administrative Code R317-2-6). These beneficial uses include drinking water, recreation, aquatic life, agriculture, and the Great Salt Lake. The Integrated Report is submitted every two years for Environmental Protection Agency approval and includes the 305(b) assessment report and the 303(d) list of impaired waters. DWQ monitoring teams and cooperators collect water quality data that is used for evaluating the water quality of surface waters. DWQ is currently soliciting any additional water quality data and information from individuals or organizations to assist us in making assessment decisions for the 2026 Integrated Report. CALL FOR DATA SUBMISSIONS Data and information submissions are invited any time prior to the close of business on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. Data providers must submit files electronically using the submission processes and tools provided on the 2026 Integrated Report webpage.
