Dear Mr. Amato:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) has completed its review of the Application for a Waiver of an Ecological Risk Assessment (Waiver), which was received
on March 14, 2024.
Chevron Environmental Management Company (CEMC) requests theWaiver for the Chevron Terminal No. 129-0334 (Site) located at 2350 North 1100 West SLC, Utah. The request is made followingUtah
Administration Code (UAC) R315-101-5(j). CEMC has demonstrated that the Site does not provide a viable habitat for potential ecological receptors and concludes that there are no complete
or potentially complete ecological exposure pathways due to prevailing conditions and property setting.
Based on our review, the Division concurs with the findings and conclusions of the request. The Waiver is hereby approved.
If you have any questions, please call Hao Zhu at (801) 558-9833 or Sean Moody at 385-499-0283.
