The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) has completed its review of a response to the Division’s September 26, 2023 comments on the Vapor Intrusion Assessment
Work Plan for Varex Imaging, formerly the Varian Medical Systems Facility (Work Plan) in a letter dated December 20, 2023 and prepared by Stantec Consulting Services Inc.
Arevised Work Plan is also attached in the December 20, 2023 letter. Based on our review, the revised Work Plan and the response to comments appear to be acceptable, and are hereby
approved. Please provide at least a seven-day notice to the Division prior to conducting field sampling activities at the site.
