In regards to our telephone conversation yesterday,
I am enclosing copies of tesE reports on material collected
at the lime pond, Vernal, Utah.
As I expressed earlier by letter of January 21, 1992,
IIile High Calcium, Inc. , planned to market to their customers
and has processed, by slurry, the major pare of the 1ime.
There remains approximately 25 yards of material to be
disposed of.
Mr. Lowel1 Card, Environmental Health DirectorrVernali
Utah, has informed me that material below the a1lowable
threshold 1eve1 can be hauled to the 1oca1 1andfi11.
hIe will then take the necessary steps to close the pond;
hauling in tlie required soil to gradient 1eve1.
