NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT
on
HOLDEN TOWN LANDFILL PERMIT
The Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) is considering the approval of a Permit Renewal (Permit) at the Holden Town Landfill located approximately
one mile north off U.S. Highway 50 on Whiskey Creek Road north of Holden in Millard County. The facility is owned and operated by Holden Town Corporation. The permit application was
reviewed and determined to be complete and in compliance with the Utah Solid Waste Permitting and Management Rules. The Permit allows the Holden Town Landfill to operate for ten years
after it is approved. The Director of the Division is currently seeking public comments on this DRAFT Permit.
A 45-day public comment period to receive comments on the Permit will commence on [ startdate] and end at 5:00 p.m. on [ endingdate].

comment period and was supported with sufficient information or documentation to enable the director to fully consider the substance and significance of the issue.
