Paul –
I’ve attached a revised set of drawings for the design of the proposed Gas Chlorination System at Cedar
City’s Enoch Well #3. See below in red for my responses to your comments.
Please review and let me know if you have any comments or questions. Thank you.

Subject: [EXTERNAL]: Re: Design of Gas Chlorina on System at Cedar City's Enoch Well #3
Jonathan,
I opened this to see if it was complete. I just want to point out a couple of things that the design is not clear about.
1) The exhaust fan needs to draw from near the floor in the chlorine room.
(iii) Chlorine room exhaust fan(s) shall take suction inside the chlorine room near the floor, as far as practical from the door and air inlet, and discharge
air outside of the building away from air inlets

A note regarding the installation of an exhaust fan has been added to the drawing. The exhaust fan will be
located on the opposite side of the room from the door and air inlet.
2) The air intake needs to draw from near the ceiling, opposite side of the room from the exhaust fan near the floor.
(iv) Chlorine room air inlets shall be through wall louvers near the ceiling.
Louvers are already located in the door. A note has been added on Sheet 1 regarding the location of the
louvers. If you need more information regarding the louvers, I can get a photo and send it to you.
3) The chlorine vent pipe needs to have a #14 screen on the end of it.
A note regarding the #14 screen on the end of the vent pipes has been added to Sheet 1.
Rule R309-520 is here for your reference:

With chlorinators, we need to have information about the chlorinator as well as your Point of Entry sample location, where
you will be required to sample daily (or continuously) prior to your first customer. I have attached a Word file that includes
the items I will need more information about to complete my review and include in the plan approval letter.
Information is now provided on Sheet 2 regarding the Point of Entry sample location where the chlorine
analyzer will be installed. Also, the responses to the items in the Word file are included on Sheet 2.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Paul
