This recommendation applies only to the specific Release Site MSO and is based on the information supplied by you or your consultant. The information submitted indicates that any detectable petroleum contamination from this release is not a threat to human health or the environment according to Utah Admin. Code rule R311-211. In the future, if other evidence indicates a spread of contamination from this release which may cause a threat, further corrective action may be required. One of two soil samples from the UHOT location had DRO >Tier 1. The release was closed out in 2015. In 2024 the property developer wished to remove any remaining petroleum impacted soils, prior to redeveloping the site for residential use. The location of the UHOT was excavated and no visible evidence of impact was present. Soil confirmation samples from the walls and floor of the excavation were well below ISLs for all compounds. The 110 tons of excavated soil were not suitable for redevelopment purposes and were taken to the local landfill.
