EPCRA Coordinator:
This letter serves as notification under Section 302 of the Emergency Planning and Community
Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) that the Utah Air National Guard (UTANG) facility has an
extremely hazardous substance (EHS) present on site in a quantity exceeding its threshold
planning quantity (TPQ). As a result, the facility is subject to the emergency planning provisions
of EPCRA.
In addition, this letter serves as notification under Section 303 of EPCRA of the identity of the
UTANG’s Facility Emergency Coordinator. Our Facility Emergency Coordinator is MSgt
Kenneth Church, Emergency Manager.
In addition, this letter and the attachment serves as update under Section 311 of EPCRA of the
Hazardous Chemical Inventory in list form. This update was necessary due to the new OSHA
Hazcom program.
The DoD requires that we send these notifications per the Federal rules even if the State of Utah
does not. If you have any question concerning this update or require additional information,
please contact me at (801) 245-2122.
