This is to notify the DAQ that we are in compliance with the pollution prevention
management practices as outlined in our Approval Order (AO) DAOE-AN0??t!20007-10 I or3 r(

We have a written material specification and scrap management program that is
available to all employees and has been sent to all our scrap metal vendors. To the
best of our knowledge:
No Mercury containing switches or compounds have been used or received in our
melting scrap.
No used oil filters or any type of used automobile components are currently used or
received in our melting scrap.
No Lead components, no chlorinated plastic components, and no cylinders or objects
which may contain free liquids have been used or received in our melting scrap.

Methanol is not used as a specific ingredient in any core or mold making operation.
Total metal melted < 1 ,000 tons per any rolling 12 month period.

Our maintenance department has installed allthe manometers on our baghouses to
operate within their functioning parameters and we are inspecting and recording the
gauges monthly. We are also calibrating the sauses yearly. REVIEWED
