Hello Alex –
This was originally attempted as a sent email last week and for some reason, it appears (I assume on our
side here) that there was a server issue for some of my sent emails that evening.
This email, as well as the Smelter email response I attempted to send, are being resent now with my
apologies having not noticed sooner, and I’ll reach out to you for confirmation.
Chad, Randall, Austin and I look forward to discussing in person Tuesday and seeing you.

Hello and thank you for your review and feedback on our original response to Rio Tinto Kennecott’s
compliance advisory No. 2410126 on December 6, 2024 for the Bingham Mine tire monofill.
This email serves as requested additional information that confirms action taken by Kennecott at your
request.
As discussed by phone, since the Mine Monofill Compliance Advisory response in December, Kennecott
Mine has since worked to install cones at the access point near where signage was installed to restrict entry
to the lower monofill bermed area to authorized personnel only, in order to better prevent unauthorized
dumping stated as a DWMRC concern to our response letter.
A picture attached is provided as evidence and we look forward to confirmation of the compliance advisory
being closed.
