Allison,
Thank you for sending DERR’s technical comments on the Site Characterization Report (SCR) for the
Paxton Site (VCP Site #C129). The attached version of the SCR has been updated to address these
comments. I’ve also include a MS Word version of the document with changes tracked so you can easily
identify the updates that have been made. We will take into consideration your comments regarding clean-
up goals, background levels, and proposed remedies during development of the Remedial Action Plan
(RAP), which we hope to submit sometime next week.
Thanks again and best regards,
Brent

Brent,
Many thanks! I have taken a look at the document and agree that all comments have been addressed. I will start the
acceptance letter, but in the meantime, this email can suffice. The acceptance letter will also request the development of
the RAP, which you have expressed that your team is already working on.
We are still discussing the arsenic background number but I will reach out as soon as I have an update.
Thanks again!
Allison

Thanks Allison!
Could you and Scott be available tomorrow to discuss the arsenic background number (we’ve given this
some further consideration and would like to discuss)?

Looking at schedules, we may be able to make tomorrow afternoon work. He has left for the day but I will catch him in the
morning and double check.
Thanks,

Hi Brent,
I apologize, something came up and we are not able to meet today. I will follow up with him and we will try to reach out
either tomorrow or Thursday.

Brent,
As a follow-up to my voicemail, I would like to also invite Bill to the call, if that is okay with you. I think that is the best
course of action to make sure that we are all on the same page and have a productive discussion. Bill would also like to
spend a little bit of time discussing plans for vapor mitigation.
The earliest that we could all meet would be Thursday afternoon (2-3 pm or 3:30-4:30 pm). Would either of those times
work for you?

Allison,
Sorry that I missed your earlier call. Thanks for your message and follow-up e-mail. Thursday at 2pm
works well for me. I’ll send out a Teams invite link for the call. I assume that Scott will also participate, so
I’ll also include him on the invite.
We’re happy to chat about the proposed vapor intrusion mitigation system as well. I’ve attached a copy of
our preliminary design package that we’re planning to include with the RAP, so you can take a look at it prior
to the call.

Bruce and Brent,
I received these building plans from your team back in December. The building footprint looks the same as the one you
have provided a few days ago for the VMS. But I just wanted to verify first that the building plans I'm working with are the
most current.
Thanks!
