RE:No Further Action on Request for Information – Closure Standard Design Requirements – Moulding & Sons Landfill
SW153
Dear Mr. Anderson:
Thank you for responding to the Request for Information, sent to you by the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control on September 26, 2024 (DSHW-2024-008281), regarding an
area potentially indicative of fluvial erosion in which the landfill cap of the area appeared to be disturbed and no longer intact as observed during the September 5, 2024 compliance
evaluation inspection.
Based on the information received, including the justification of the area potentially indicative of fluvial erosion resides outside of the landfill cap, no further action is required
regarding this matter at this time.
If you have any questions, please contact Alex Milne by email at amilne@utah.gov or by phone at 8015994672.
Sincerely,
Douglas J. Hansen, Director
Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control
