• Mr. Michael Higley (Reactive Technician) In accordance with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality provisions, ICU Medical, in Salt Lake City, UT 84123, EPA # UTD063329569, a small quantity generator,
requested a temporary emergency license for onsite treatment of thirty-six (36) potentially unstable, hazardous waste containers.
After receiving an email approval from the State of Utah, the Reactive Materials Team with Clean Harbors Environmental Services scheduled the project to arrive onsite on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025.
During the collection of the chemicals, we encountered no additional compounds requiring further attention. We managed all the items successfully.
The Reactive Materials Team followed the procedures put forth in the submitted work plan to the State and the material was successfully treated without any incidents or issues.
