In accordance with the Utah Department of Environmental Quality provisions, The
University of Utah, in Salt Lake City, UT 84113, EPA # UTD094674595, a large quantity generator, requested a temporary emergency license for onsite treatment of four (4) potentially unstable, hazardous waste containers.
After receiving email approval from the State of Utah, the Reactive Materials Team with
Clean Harbors Environmental Services scheduled the project for Tuesday, January 28th, 2025.
During the collection of the chemicals, no additional compounds were identified that were not outlined in the inventory. All the items were successfully managed without incident.
The Reactive Materials Team followed the procedures put forth in the work planned submitted to the State.
