General Comments
Comments The Division received a report of illegal dumping at this property. During the
inspection various types of waste were observed including: wood pallets
and planks, concrete, metals, large appliances, large plastic totes, furniture,
dead animals, tires, 5 gallon buckets, rusted tanks, green waste, mattresses
and other plastics. It was evident dumping has been taking place for a long
time and is encroaching on the channel. It was also evident that the waste
gets pushed onto the downward slope into the channel and is buried with
dirt using heavy equipment. Tire tracks to the location indicate it is well
travelled. This may be an unpermitted landfill and not just one individual
dumping.
