Hello Andrew, Jake & Steve Subject: RTCR Level 2 Assessment Camp Atoka UTAH29041
I would like thank you folks for taking the time to meet with me on Sept 9 2022 for the site visit at Camp Atoka facilities. We inspected the well house/pump station and the Lodge facility (kitchen, dining and bathrooms) This letter will be in lieu of a complete L2 question.
Observations: This site visit was triggered by multiple Routine and Repeat TC+ samples from the distribution System. There also was 0 triggered source (TGR) samples collected. June 2022 1 of 1 routine TC+ / 2 of 3 repeats recorded as TC+ (No TGR listed?)
July 2022 1 of 1 routine TC+ / 3 of 3 repeats recorded as TC+ (No TGR listed?)
August & Sept ea month 1 routine TC-/ No TGR recorded yet All samples have been processed by the Weber Basin (WBWCD) lab. Camp Atoka is seasonal 4/1 to 9/30 operation.
Conclusions:
TC- samples were taken within the Lodge building closest to service line point of entry (west side wall of men’s restroom) There have not been TC+ up/down on main line that feeds the Lodge and ends in the archery activity field .
There have not been TC+ on the line to the north across the bridge at the open fields,
parking lot, restrooms, storage buildings, and well house. We concluded that TC+ results were isolated to the Lodge Building and could be related to a biofilm build up in interior pex/pvc piping This piping runs under the concrete flooring from the water heater utility room to the lower kitchen cabinets.

No triggered source (TGR) samples were collected in June and July 2022. Take these TGR samples when the well is restarted or if it used this off season.
Deficiencies identified during the L2 Assessment
No obvious deficiencies were noted. We did not visit the tank site (ST001) up on hill. Recommendations 1. Collect missing TGR/source samples per RTCR.
2. Chlorinate and Flush the Lodge building interior piping at end of season.
3. Conduct thorough seasonal start up inspection, checking entire system for leaks and/or avenues for contamination. Repeat the hyperchlorination of the Lodge interior piping. 4. Follow DDW seasonal Start up procedure for disinfection and flushing of system 5. Continue to Implement Cross Connection Control on your hose bibbs and other
connections.
