You can see the port for a generator to hook up on the outside of the building. We also have the propane generator inside the building that comes on currently anyme the power goes out to run the large booster pump. Let me know if you have any quesons. If you will reply to this email to Jennifer Yee with the photo attached that should cover it. What do we need to do at this point to dismiss the deficiency? Do you need photos of the generator or something like that, or do we need someone to come out and re-survey? Please advise. A written request, preferably on water system letterhead, from the management of the Public Water System to the Director of the Division of Drinking Water. Nathan Lunstad is the Director (who the request should be addressed to). 2. Cite the specific rule to which the exception is being requested. You are requesting an exception for deficiency S033 - community water system without naturally flowing sources lacks backup power for at least one water source. The rule this is referencing is R309-515-6(2)(a). 3. Provide a detailed explanation of why the requirements of the rule cannot be met (include drawings if appropriate). 4. Describe what will be done to meet the intent of the rule in place of meeting the requirements of the rule (include drawings if appropriate). 5. Provide an alternative to the rule requirements and justification of how it will meet or exceed the public health requirements of the rule that cannot be met. Address the written exception request to the Director, Utah Division of Drinking Water, P.O. Box 144830, Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4830.
