Dear Mr. Amato:
On February 29, 2024, the Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) approved your request for a Class 1 permit modification of Module VI of the Chevron’s
Post-Closure Permit in a letter dated February 22, 2024. However, theattached permit module was not the last version that both the Division and Chervon agreed on. The Division resents
the approved module for the Class 1 permit modification to add a condition to tracking spills at the refinery.
Enclosed in this letter please find the last modified version of Module VI of the permit. Please update the copies of the Post-Closure Permit maintained by Chevron Environmental Management
Company and Chevron Salt Lake Refinery accordingly.
