SITE NAME: Liberty Corner

SITE LOCATION: Salt Lake City, Utah

DATE OF SITE VISIT: 29 June 2023

PURPOSE OF SITE VISIT: DERR (Lincoln Grevengoed) visited the Site to observe site characterization
efforts.

FIELD OBSERVATIONS: The DERR arrived at the Site and met with ATLAS and the subcontractors. When
the DERR arrived onsite a Geoprobe was being used to drill boreholes for the collection of soil and
groundwater samples and the drillers had just run into refusal on the latest boring. A second bore hole
was drilled but again ran into refusal. It was eventually determined that a second three-foot layer of
concerete underlay the fill over most of the western portion of the Site. The drillers decided to try and
break through the concrete. The DERR observed the collection of soil and groundwater samples from a
different boring before leaving. Activites at the Site appeared to match the approved work plan and the
QAPP.
