Oasis Emission Consultants, Inc. was requested to perform an engine emission test on an Ajax E-565 lean burn engine located in Uintah County, Utah. Testing was conducted in accordance with the Utah Administrative Code Rule R307-510-4 and compliance is demonstrated following EPA 40 CFR 60, Subpart JJJJ (NSPS JJJJ). Utah Administrative Code Rule R307-510-4 Emission Levels The average recorded levels are shown in the attached report and summarized below. *Please note: HC levels are reported as NMNEHC as previously described in the testing protocol. EPA 40 CFR 60, Subpart JJJJ Emission Levels The average recorded levels were found to comply with emission levels stipulated by EPA 40 CFR 60, Subpart JJJJ, as shown in the attached report and summarized below. Facility Name: Deep Creek 6-22-4-2E Emission Source: Ajax E-565 Date of Test: August 22, 2024 Date of Report: October 15, 2024 1.1 Introduction The purpose of this source test was to satisfy the requirements of Utah Administrative Code Rule R307-510-4 and to demonstrate that source emissions from an Ajax E-565 engine were below maximum allowable levels specified by EPA 40 CFR 60, Subpart JJJJ. The Ajax E-565 engine is a lean burn engine that is uncontrolled. Three test runs were performed on August 22, 2024 to analyze NOx, CO & NMNEHC emission levels according to methodologies outlined in the EPA 40 CFR 60(A) Protocol. Each of the three runs consisted of sixty (60) readings taken at one (1) minute intervals. Test runs were observed by the following individuals:  Brandon Mead, OEC  Kasey K. 2.1 Equipment Utilization The following equipment was used during the tests performed at the Deep Creek 6-22-4-2E facility in conjunction with procedures outlined in our standard testing protocol according to EPA Reference Methods 3A, 4, 7E, 10, 18, 19 & 25A.  API 300M CO NDIR Analyzer, S/N 71, Range 0-3000 ppm  API 200AH NOx/O2 Chemiluminescent/Paramagnetic Analyzer, S/N 495, Range 0-5000 ppm  CAI 600HFID Analyzer  Method 18 Integrated Grab Bag Sampling System  APEX Integrated Tedlar Bag Sampler c/w Vacuum Pump  Universal Analyzer 3040SSP Sample Gas Conditioner  Method 4 Impinger System c/w Ice Box Tray  75 ft. Each test run was performed at the maximum achievable load. THC levels were measured during the performance test using EPA Method 25A. The integrated grab bag sampling technique (Method 18) was employed simultaneously for the reduction of Methane and Ethane. In accordance with the Utah Administrative Code Rule R307-510-4, the resulting NMNEHC levels were added to the NOx levels, representing the HC+NOx levels. Testing for NOx, CO & NMNEHC were run concurrently with one another. Emission levels were found to comply with Subpart JJJJ standards. 3.1.1 Source Test 1: Ajax E-565, NOx, CO & NMNEHC The first test was performed from 12:59 to 13:58 for NOx, CO & NMNEHC. Based on the site rated load of 35.8 bhp, the average NOx and CO levels were found to be 0.19 g/bhp-hr and 1.97 g/bhp-hr respectively, in compliance with the current EPA standards.
