Dear Mr. Blauer:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) received a request to change the facility name from ATK Launch Systems – Promontory Class IIIb Landfills to Northrop
Grumman Systems Corporation-Promontory Class IIIb Landfill as part of an internal restructuring by Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation to further integrate heritage Orbital ATK business
units. ATK Launch Systems LLC is now operating as Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation.
On July 23, 2024, a Division Representative contacted Paul Hendrickson, Environmental Engineer, to verify if ATK Launch Systems LLC will continue to be the Operator. Mr. Hendrickson
stated the Operator is to be changed to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation.
The Division has approved these changes as a minor permit modification to the existing permit. The attached permit has been updated to reflect the changes. The expiration date of this
permit remains October 31, 2031 as shown on page 1 of the Permit.
