In accordance with the requirements specified in 40 CFR 61.357(dX6) and (7), Chevron is submitting the
following Benzene Waste Operations NESHAP (BWON) documents:

Of the information required in a quarterly report, the information requested under 61.357(d)(7)(iv)(A),
61.357(d)(7 Xiv)(D) and 61.357(dXTXiv)(t) is applicable to the Salt Lake Refinery.
(ivXA) Each 3-hour period of operation during which the average temperature of the gas streamin the combustion zone of a thermal vapor incinerator, as measured by the temperature
device, is more than 28 "C below the design combustion zone temperature.
All 3-hour periods during which the average Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) gas stream
temperature in the combustion zone was below 1350 'F are listed in Table L
(iv)(D) Each 3-hour period of operation during which the average concentration of organics or the
average concentration ofbenzene in the exhaust gas from a carbon adsorber, condenser, or othervapor recovery system is more than 20 percent greater than the design concentration level of
organics or benzene in the exhaust gas.
The Chevron Marketing Terminal uses a Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU) to control BWON streams. During
the reporting period, there were no 3-hour periods in which the average concentration of organics oi
benzene in the exhaust gas was more than 20 percent greater than the design concentration level oforganics
or benzene in the exhaust gas.
