The DERR will not be issuing a formal letter to DAQ at this time. I'll need more information from

I am reaching out regarding the Air Quality Permit (DAQE-401-94) associated with the
historical operation of the soil vapor extraction (SVE) system at Halls Crossing Marina,
Lake Powell, Utah (DERR Facility ID 5000374).
In late 2021, we received permission from the Division of Environmental Response and
Remediation (DERR) to discontinue operation of the SVE system as asymptotic levels
have been achieved and operation was no longer considered cost effective
(documentation attached). To close our Air Quality Permit, the Division of Air Quality
manager requested a signed, formal letter from DERR authorizing the SVE shutdown.
Would it be possible for DERR to issue a formal letter approving the system stoppage?
