The Division issued Plan Approval for the project on January 9, 2024, and conducted a substantially complete inspection on December 17, 2024. The project consisted of replacing all of the existing water mains in the Desert Sage subdivision with 8-inch diameter HDPE water lines, installing new meters and service connections, and installing all related valves, fire hydrants and other appurtenances The Division has received the following information for the project: Certification of Rule Conformance with plan approval conditions and changes made during construction were in conformance with rules R309-500 through 550 by a professional engineer. Contract Record drawings. Satisfactory bacteriological results as evidence of proper disinfection and flushing. The Division has determined that all conditions for operating permit issuance have been met. On this basis, an Operating Permit for the Desert Sage Water Line projectis hereby issued as constituted by this letter. You may now place the new water lines in service in your water system, and they will become part of your Distribution System.With the issuance of this Operating Permit, operationand control of the water lines within the Desert Sage subdivision passes to Ashley Valley Water and Sewer ID, and the status of the Desert Sage Water System can be changed to Inactive, which resolves all of the Improvement Priority System (IPS) points.
