HomeMy WebLinkAboutDSHW-2024-007449July XX, 2024 Terry Ficklin, General Manager South Utah Valley Solid Waste District Dry Creek Transfer Station 518 West 3450 North Spanish Fork, UT 84660 RE:Approval for Plan of Operation, Dry Creek Transfer Station, Utah County SW603 Dear Mr. Ficklin: The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) completed a 45-day public notice and comment period on the Plan of Operation (Plan) for the Dry Creek Transfer Station. The comment period began June 6, 2024 and ended on July 22, 2024. No comments were received. Prior to that, the Division completed its review of the Plan. The Plan is hereby approved. All employees at the facility should be familiar with the Plan regarding safety, proper site management, operations, and other requirements. Periodic inspections may be conducted by representatives from the Division or the Utah County Health Department to evaluate compliance with the Plan and applicable solid waste management rules.
