Dear Mr. Schwendiman:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) has completed its review of the permit renewal application for Bayview Landfill. The application was determined to be
complete on November 13, 2023 (DSHW-2023-209397).The Division requested more information on November 22, 2023 (DSHW-2023-211282), and the owner submitted an updated permit renewal application
on February 13, 2024 (DSHW-2024-004686). No additional information was requested.
A draft permit and its attachments have been prepared and are enclosed for your review. Please review them and notify our office of any questions or comments within three weeks of receipt
of this letter.
After your review, the Division intends to begin the required 45-day public comment period. Following the public comment period and resolution of any comments, final action will be taken
on this permit.
