I Think receptors should be potential rather than complete?

Chris has one more question on this. My instinct is to say no, it's not potential, because windblown dust from a surface
that is uncapped is a complete pathway, and an accidental splash from groundwater directly to skin on a construction
worker is also complete. I think he's mixing up the concept of "this might happen" for potential versus what is or isn't a
complete pathway, but I wanted to check with you.

I don't know that it would matter. We want him to sample the areas that we
have questions about. If he said that we didn't need to sample because it's not a
complete pathway then we would probably have a bigger problem. I would say that a
complete and a potentially complete pathway require sampling whereas an incomplete
pathway could be argued that there is not a need to sample.

Okay, I'll relay that to him. I think that they're planning to sample for all of analytes that they're putting in the
conceptual site model, including petroleum and VOCs, PAHs, and metals according to their workplan, so based on that it
sounds like they might be able to finalize the workplan with this newest version of their model.

Hey Chris, Scott tells me that you could put complete or potential for those. He says that ultimately whether a pathway is
potential or complete, that if we're doing a conceptual site model for a site characterization workplan, that you would
sample for both potential and complete pathways. So long as the workplan calls for all the analytes in question (and as I
recall it does), then it seems like this model will work. As such it sounds to me like we can finalize the workplan.
