HomeMy WebLinkAboutDERR-2025-000088VCP/BROWNFIELDS SECTION – SITE VISIT REPORT
SITE NAME: Park City Heights Site Visit DATE: August 26, 2024
PROJECT MANAGER: Leigh Anderson
PURPOSE OF VISIT: Inspect repository and retaining wall.
FIELD OBSERVATIONS: Some damage to the fence will need to be repaired. Burrows are minor and
might even be old, however due to the broken fence there are signs of human activity on the
repository. Some dumping is present, though may have blown off from the nearby highway, and a golf
ball, but most concerning is what seems to be a child’s winter hat, suggesting children of some
residents are using the repository as a sledding hill or otherwise playing on it.
The retention wall has had a lot of repairs, and the cement looks almost knew. However it seems to
have been repaired as is, meaning low points in the wall are still low points and almost flush with the
slope. The silt fence is down along the length of the wall, and there are some signs of animal burrows
under the wall near the south end.
