This SOW is being implemented under an Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent (ASAOC) with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Region 8 Docket No. Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act 08- 2011-0013. The SOW includes: ■ RI scoping meetings; ■ RIs (multiple phases); ■ Baseline risk assessments (human health and ecological); ■ FS development and screening of alternatives; ■ Treatability studies; and ■ FS detailed analysis of alternatives. Summary of Work/Activities/Reports Required by the AOC this Reporting Period: ■ Submitted a progress report for December 2023, as required by Section VIII Paragraph 37 of the AOC on 16 January 2024. Sampling Completed/Test Results Received/Other Activities Completed: ■ No further sampling activities are required or scheduled at this time. Upcoming Scheduled and Anticipated Activities: Current schedules (in Gantt chart and timeline format) for the OU-1 RI and the OU-1 FS are attached to this progress report. The attached schedules provide a target timeline for report preparation, USEPA review, and planning and execution of each phase of the RI. These schedules have been updated to reflect the current projected timelines for all current and future project activities. The Following is a summary of project activities that are pending pursuant to the project schedules: ■ The revised Final OU-2 RI Report, pending USEPA approval of the response to comments submitted on 14 June 2023. ■ The Final OU-1 Phase 2B Hydro Remedial Investigation Data Report, pending USEPA approval or receipt of comments on draft version of this report that was submitted to USEPA in May 2020. ■ The Final OU-1 Phase 2B RI NMR and Borescope Data Report, pending USEPA approval or receipt of comments on the 03 December 2021 version of this report. ■ The Draft OU-1 RI Report, pending USEPA completion of OU-1 Hydro CSM Data Gap scoping.
