Investigation Summary and Proposed Next Steps for Investigation
Dear Mr. Hansen:
Attached is the summary of the ESRF hydrocarbon investigation to date and a proposal for
the next steps of the investigation . Based on the results obtained from three phases of field
investigations, EnergySolutions' contractor, Geosyntec Consultants, Inc . proposes to install a
network of monitor wells consisting of five wells, conduct vertical profiling at three previous
boring locations where significant petroleum hydrocarbon impacts were identified , and
perform a high-level risk evaluation and submit a summary report.
Please find enclosed, the East Side Rotary Facility Investigation Summary Report and a letter
with the proposed next steps from Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. A modified version of the
approved February 2023 Work P lan will be submitted for approval once the attached
proposed next steps are approved by DWMRC.
