Concern, SRS DU Storage Building

Dear Mr. Hansen:

EnerySolutions hereby responds to a March 5, 2024 request from the Director of the
Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (DRC-2024-004659) to provide
an engineered solution to the leaking DU Storage Building roof. Below are the items
whose focus is to prevent further water from entering the building.

Roof Repairs: EnergySolutions has contacted the roofing contractor and are
scheduling additional roof repairs when weather is suitable for safe roof access.
Thresholds and Seals: EnergySolutions is repairing/replacing the thresholds and
weather seals at the man doors and the rollup doors. When necessary, low spots
are being filled with an appropriate material. Repairs to the thresholds and
weather seals are expected to be completed by May 31st.
