Last Wednesday, 8/23/23, the BAT inspector reported water near the northwest corner of the interior of the SRS DU
Building. It’s a bit of a mystery, because the only precipitation recorded in the previous 24 hours was 0.03 inches,
occurring during mid-day the previous day, 8/22/23. This is the same location water has been observed previously, and
the waste containers in this area are covered to prevent water from contacting them.
In accordance with GWQDP UGW450005 Appendix K, Part 4.19.3, EnergySolutions will provide written notification of this
concern within 7 calendar days of the discovery on 8/23/23.
