Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit No. UGW450005 (GWQDP): Confirmation to
Place the Intermodal Unloading Facility Back into Service
Dear Mr. Anderson:
The Intermodal Unloading Facility (IUF) was taken out of service by EnergySolutions on
Monday, May 21, 2018 and again on Thursday, June 14, 2018 to perform the Annual Inspection
and associated repairs required by Appendix J of the GWQDP. Subsequent to completion of this
work, the Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (DWMRC) inspected the
repairs following both of these dates, and EnergySolutions has placed the facility back into
service. As requested, EnergySolutions provides notice that the IUF is back in service.
