Containerized Waste Facility Drawings
Mr. Anderson:
EnergySolutions herein requests that Groundwater Quality Discharge Permit No.
UGW450005 be modified to incorporate revisions to the 2016 Containerized Waste
Facility (2016 CWF). On May 9, 2016, the Utah Division of Waste Management and
Radiation Control conditionally approved Energy Solutions ' request (made per CD16-
0050) to construct Phases I and II of the 2016 CWF. As is reflected in the attached
Engineering Drawings 10014-005(8), 10014-C10(4) and 10014-C11(2), EnergySolutions
requests approval to extend Phase I of the 2016 CWF approximately 24 feet eastward in
order to facilitate construction of a new operational haul road. CWF waste will not be
placed in this extension.
