Dear Ms. Ruedig:
On April 15, 2024, Heather Mickelson from the Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (DWMRC) inspected the impoundments and embankments at the Lisbon Valley Uranium
Mill. The inspection identified issues that required correction. On May 8, 2024, the Division requested the removal of deep-rooted vegetation and repairs to the impoundment cover due
to rutting from tires (DRC-2024-005496).
On September 25, 2024, the DWMRC received confirmation that this work has been completed (DRC-2024-006964). This inspection is now closed.
