Dear Ms.Sites:
On March 8, 2024, the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) received your hazardous waste storage extension request for one 55-gallon drum of pump screen solid
(waste code D018), three 55-gallon drums of heat exchanger solids (waste code K050), and one 55-gallon drum of paint waste (waste code D001) due to an unexpected delay in pickup from
the transporter.
Your request is hereby approved provided that while the waste remains onsite, the following will be adhered to:
Containers are kept in good condition, closed, and in secondary containment.
Inspect and document weekly that the containers have not deteriorated and that there are no leaks or spills.
