In summary, there were diesel concentraons above Utah Inial Screening Levels (ISLs) below and on the north side of the excavaon that will require over-excavaon and confirmaon resampling. Oil and Grease contaminaon was present but below Utah ISLs. Gasoline and BTEXN compounds were all non-detect. The soil I collected from on top/inside of the UST was below ISLs, so it was probably mostly uncontaminated soil from above. Soil on the east side was non-detect. As requested, I put the samples up for a 1-Day expedited rush, but the lab is very busy so the results will be in on Thursday. I did smell some gasoline-type vapors in the soil samples as I put them in jars, so I expect there to be some positive detections. Since the UST is unknown, I ran the samples for gasoline, diesel, oil & grease, VOCs, and SVOCs. Please let me know if you have any questions. Also, if any of you have photos of the UST in the ground, please forward them to me for our report. My phone is 562-668-7235 if texting the photos from you phone is easier.
