Is the site and soil cover free from saturation or ponding of surface runoff? 4. Is the slope soil cover free of holes or other signs of burrowing rodents? 5. Have the burrowed or eroded slope areas been filled with clean soil and revegetated as needed? 6. Do the cap slopes appear to be stable and free from erosion? 7. Have the ditches and culverts been inspected for obstructions and debris? 8. Are the interceptor trench and drains accessible and operational? 9. Are the groundwater monitoring wellheads accessible? 10. Is the Jordan River riverbank free from signs of erosion or undercutting? 11. Is riprap and vegetation adequate to prevent intrusion of the river into the site?
Additional Comments or Observations: Photos depicted in the attached log were taken on November 15, 2023. Figures related to this inspection are also attached for reference and include Figure 1 – Location Map, Figure 2 – Photo Locations, and Figure – 3 River Bank Inspection Areas. Erosion observed on the cap’s north and west slopes during previous inspections had been repaired by the property owner. The peak water flow recorded at the Jordan River 90th South gauging station on November 15, 2023, was 32.22 cubic feet per second. Current and historic water flows for the Jordan River at the 90th South gauging station can be obtained at http://slco.org/flood-control/real-time-streamflow-totals/.
