The USTs associated with Release JRH, were installed 4-1991 and closed by removal 4-1996, and appear to have been owned by Jennings Petroleum through 5-1994, when Les Gardner purchased the operation. Also, I see in photo documents only, attached, that Conoco and later ‘Sunrise’ Chevron, were the brands on the site for Facility 9000053, photos dated 1997 and 2009, respectively. Those operations were fueled by ASTs, not overseen by our group at the time, yet on the same property as Release FCO and JRH. The attached aerial photo plat will show you the layout of the area. Releases FCO and JRH were on the vacant parcel, ‘5474’, while the new Chevron, Fac. ID 9000395, is adjacent and to the west, on Parcel ‘5482.’ All the best, Mark Mark E. As I go through the file, if I am deciphering it correctly, the Self Service (Conoco) folks and those before (back to the Texaco days) that owned and operated the facility 9000053, are the ones responsible for the release FCO and JRH. Then by 1996 all older tanks were closed and removed. Around 1999, the Facility presumably with new owners and tanks(?) became a Chevron staon which is sll is today the current 9000053 facility. But the Chevron folks and its tanks are not part of the FCO and JRH release. Am I reading the site file correctly as the file is a bit disjointed as to Chevron? First, the name Sunrise Chevron, is from the UST database, and I’m not sure where the name Sunrise Market came from. The database uses the last company name change which in this case was dated, 11-2004, clearly out of our tank date range. The tanks in question, wherein the first UST Notification form was used in 1986, had the facility name as ‘Self Service.’ For the tanks in question, an UST Closure Plan was submitted 6-1991, and had the facility name as ‘Self Serve Gas & Groceries.’ A DERR Notice of Non-Compliance issued 12-1991, for the removed USTs, named the facility as ‘Self Service.’ Moving forward, I will no longer refer to the site as Sunrise Chevron or Sunrise Market, and will refer to the site as ‘Self Service’ or Jennings Petroleum Self Service. Let me know your thoughts on this matter or if you need additional information. Regards, Mark Mark E. Do you know why TERRACON did not go further back as far as possible as they have with other tle searches. An RP search on this site would be incomplete with a tle search that begins with s Texaco lease in 1962. Can we get TERRACON to complete the tle search? Or, perhaps is there a more complete one I am overlooking. Let me know.
